Picnic at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

The Royal Botanic Garden is one of our absolute favourite places to visit in Edinburgh. It is so peaceful and beautiful there with a lot to discover, there are picturesque views everywhere and the garden offers plenty of quiet nooks for a tranquil escape from the city noise. We've visited the gardens twice in a row, yesterday just to enjoy the exceptionally warm weather and today to take some photos of our products in this amazing location. We are very pleased with the result of the photo shoot and grateful for such a memorable day so we wanted to share some of the photos with you too.

You are greeted with incredible views as soon as you enter the park.

It didn't take long for us to find the perfect spot for our picnic and photo shoot!

We had a delicious fruit salad at first and then enjoyed bagels with tomato, avocado, and homemade vegan chickpea 'tuna' salad (click here for the recipe, we highly recommend for everyone to try it!). We got to the location as soon as it was opened (10 am), the grass was still a bit wet but we were happy to experience that our linen picnic blanket stayed dry and kept us warm. Unfortunately, the weather was much cooler today and we weren't prepared, but the soft waffle blanket still allowed us to enjoy ourselves despite of it. Most of the items shown on the photos are available in our store (the coconut wood serving boards will be available soon - aren't they gorgeous?!)

Here are the links to all of the items:

Grey Waves linen picnic blanket

Pale Grey waffle linen blanket

Grey kitchen towel

Coconut wood utensils

We will certainly continue with these kinds of photo shoots and I hope that seeing our products in use in real life situations is as interesting for you as it was for us to plan and execute this idea!

Until next time!
